Moments after failing to reach final round of Miss Universe competition, Costa Rica’s Karina Ramos urges destabilization, government overthrow on Twitter
VATICAN ENQUIRER (ElPeji.com) MIAMI — Costa Rica’s Karina Ramos, anticipated to be a finalist in Miss Universe pageant, has taken to social media to launch a “Costa Rican spring” to overthrow the Central American country’s government after being eliminated from the competition Sunday night.

Ramos, who encouraged citizens to congregate at the Fuente de la Hispanidad – a fountain in San Jose reserved for national celebrations – if she won the crown, changed the tone of her message after being eliminated prior to the round of 15 finalists.
“QUE LA QUEMEN!’’ she tweeted about the fountain, which translates to “BURN IT DOWN!” She added the hashtags #Anarchy #Destabilize #CostaRicaSpring. She followed the tweet with a Vine video of her smiling face before jumping to images of Molotov cocktails being hurled at the country’s presidential palace.
Her final tweet read “Colombianas are easy,’’ thought to be a direct jab at Miss Colombia Paulina Vega, who won the Miss Universe crown. She added the hashtags #faketears #fakeboobs
Ramos’s tweets have since been removed from her account, though four San Jose police officers were deployed to the fountain in case of a potential incident. As of 12 p.m. today in San Jose, two stray cats were seen brawling near the fountain, a sign of a potential flare-up in the makings, police said.
