WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report<\/a>)\u2014A furious Donald J. Trump has demanded that Facebook investigate why a status update posted by former President Barack Obama on Monday has received so many likes.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday morning, Trump said that the more than eight hundred and fifty thousand likes that Obama\u2019s post had garnered as of Tuesday night were \u201cphony,\u201d and called the seeming popularity of the post a \u201crigged hoax.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is absolutely no way that eight hundred and fifty thousand people liked Obama\u2019s post,\u201d he said. \u201cI know a lot of people, and absolutely none of them like Obama.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump said that, in addition to investigating Obama\u2019s likes, he was demanding that Facebook remove several hundred thousand of Obama\u2019s likes and \u201cgive them to me instead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Calling the former President\u2019s Facebook post \u201cas long and boring as a book,\u201d Trump slammed Obama for being \u201cterrible at social media, which is the most important part of a President\u2019s job.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn that post he uses words like \u2018motivations,\u2019 \u2018proliferate,\u2019 and \u2018unequivocally,\u2019 \u201d Trump said. \u201cHow could over eight hundred thousand people like a post full of words that no one has ever heard of?\u201d<\/p>\n
